Tribal Business conclave was jointly organised by Ministry of Industry & Commerce , Ministry of Tribal affairs and Ministry of Culture on November 12, 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi.Director & CEO of NVCFL had participated for the above said conclave & discussed SRI Fund's contribution to the MSME industry, employment generation in tier 2,3 geography. He highlighted on women empowerment and SRI fund's contribution to the needy section of society. The Panel discussion moderator was Ms.Himani Pandey IAS, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Other panelists were Mr Baskar Bhat (Trustee of Tata Trust, which manages 180 Tata group companies & earlier Chairman & MD of Titan industries) and Mr.Ashank Desai,CMD of Mastek Ltd & Chair of Incubator at IIT- Bombay & Ex Chairman NASSCOM.

The Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund, the sovereign Fund of Funds for MSME growth alongwith Government of J&K, organised an outreach event at Srinagar on 1st November’2025. The event was aimed at connecting startups and MSME entrepreneurs of J& K with venture capital firms and institutional investors. The event was graced by Lieutenant Governor Sh. Manoj Sinha, Jammu and Kashmir, as the Chief Guest. The others dignitaries present include, Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, Chairman (NVCFL) & CMD, NSIC Ltd, Ms. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME and Sh. Vikramjit Singh, Commissioner/Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department.

She highlighted the various schemes of the Ministry of MSME which are beneficial for the MSMEs and startups of J& K besides the Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund.

Sh Saravana Kumar , Director & CEO (NVCFL) addressing at an outreach event of The Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund, the sovereign Fund of Funds for MSME growth alongwith Government of J&K, organised at Srinagar on 1st November’2025. He talked about the SRI Fund the aim of which is to enhance the access to equity capital for MSMEs and startups of J& K extending the reach of venture capital to emerging regions like Jammu and Kashmir. About 500 MSME and startup entrepreneurs participated in the programme where 24 Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) which are the daughter funds of SRI Fund, were also present. The entrepreneurs had also one to one interaction with Daughter Funds to understand the nitty gritties of Equity Funding through VC industry in general and SRI Fund in particular.

He also highlighted one of the initiatives of Govt of India , TReDs which aims to bring 500000 Micro Small businesses on the ONDC Platform one of the digital marketing platform under the initiative of digitalisation scheme of Ministry of Commerce.
Shri. Saravana kumar, CEO & Director, NVCFL was one of the panellist in the FIIT, Startup Conclave, a national conclave hosted by IIT Delhi, held on 21st August 2025, which focussed on deep-tech startups. He highlighted the various Venture capital (VC) schemes including SRI Fund that were promoted by GoI. The above said conclave was participated by IIT students, promoters, Venture capitalist, PE Fund's speakers .
Shri.Ateesh Singh, Joint Secretary, MSME Ministry & Govt. of India, Government Director in the NVCFL Board had delivered a Key note speech at Tamil Nadu Global Start-up summit on October 10th,2025 at Coimbatore. The event was organised by the Tamil Nadu Government. The above said summit was participated by 20 Unicorn promoters, 50 + Global Sovereign funds, 100+ domestic VC, PE speakers, 30+ International VC,PE speakers & attended by 30000 participants.
