Summentor Pro, MSME association had conducted Annual MSME & Start up Summit at ITC Maurya hotel, New Delhi on April 23rd, 2026. Shri.Saravana kumar, CEO & Director, NVCFL was a panelist. He highlighted the role of SRI Fund's contribution to the Indian MSME industry, Start up ecosystem. He explained to the MSME entrepreneurs, on how to reach out as well avail the benefits of SRI Fund
Confederation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(CIMSME) had organised Money Alpha 360° a premier financial and innovation-focused exhibition on 24-25th April 2026 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. One of the session was on ‘Startups Funding, MSME Growth Journey, Scaling Beyond Tier-1 Cities’ where Ms. Subarna Nag, Dy. Manager, NVCFL was one of the panelist During the session, she highlighted the pivotal role of the SRI Fund in strengthening the Indian MSME sector and fostering the growth of the startup ecosystem across the country.
VC Circle from the leading Publication of Hindustan Times had organised VC, PE conference at Mumbai on February 24th, 2026. Shri Saravana Kumar, CEO, NVCFL and Dr. S.S.Acharya, Chairman, NVCFL participated in the event. Dr. Acharya as one of the Member of the Jury for the Awards for the VC, AIF industry, gave away few awards during the function. He highlighted the role of NSIC and SRI Fund's contribution in the development of Indian MSME sector.
VC Circle (vertical of Hindustan Times & Mint) had organised VC, PE conference at JW Marriott,Sahar, Mumbai on February 24th,2026. Shri. Saravana kumar, CEO & Director, NVCFL was the panelist. The title of the panel discussion was "Institutional capital & Fund of Funds: Powering the next cycle of Alternative investments". He highlighted the role of SRI Fund's contribution to the Indian MSME industry. The above said conference was participated by MSME entrepreneurs, various AIF funds across India.
Shri. Saravana kumar, Director & CEO of NVCFL is a member of Jammu & Kashmir’s Government’s Start-up policy and he is a member of Screening committee for Start-up Awards. A full day meeting cum workshop of Screening committee was held on January 3, 2026 at JKEDI (J&K Entrepreneurial Development Institution, under the Govt of J & K), Jammu. Director & CEO of NVCFL, highlighted the role of SRI Fund’s contribution to the Venture capital & Start-up eco system in India. He highlighted investee companies of SRI Fund in various industry vertical as a case study for guiding the Start-up eco system of J & K state.
The Government of India invited 50 selected investee companies, among others, supported under the Self Reliant India (SRI) Fund to participate as Special Guests in the 77th Republic Day celebrations. As part of this initiative, an Interactive Meet was organised, during which Shri Saravana Kumar, Director & CEO, NSIC Venture Capital Fund Ltd. (NVCFL), addressed the gathering and apprised them of the SRI Fund scheme and its performance. Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, Chairman, NVCFL and CMD, NSIC, also addressed the gathering and congratulated the investee companies on the growth achieved with the support of the SRI Fund. Dr. Rajneesh, Development Commissioner, MSME, in his address, reiterated the Government of India’s continued commitment to supporting and empowering the MSME sector.
Govt of India had decided to invite 50 selected investee companies, amongst others, assisted under SELF Reliant India (SRI) Fund for participating in the 77th Republic day celebrations as special guests. The interactions with Special Guests and their presentations highlighted the growth achieved with support from SRI Fund. Secondly, there was a panel discussion on VC, PE Fund's contribution to the Indian MSME sector. Mr.Kumar highlighted the various Venture capital (VC) schemes including SRI Fund that were promoted by GoI. The above said conclave was participated by MSME entrepreneurs from north India.
